Freestone Resources, Inc. Frac Water Recycling Field Operations Update

DALLAS, TX — (Marketwire) — 02/01/12 — Freestone Resources, Inc. (OTCBB: FSNR) announces the ongoing operation and testing of a water treatment system designed to recycle and treat flowback and produced water through its joint venture with MEA Solutions, Freestone Water Solutions (FWS). The ongoing operations in the field have produced extremely positive results.

“I have been onsite in the field over the last few weeks working with the Freestone Water Solutions team, as well as various industry specialists to perfect a treatment program that will treat and recycle a wide array of produced and flowback water from various formations effectively and efficiently,” said Clayton Carter, President of Freestone Resources. “The last few weeks have been dedicated to testing our process against many different large quantity water samples. Based on the results from this testing, we feel confident in the process and will begin to hold demonstrations of the technology beginning next week to certain potential strategic and financial partners.”

Freestone Resources, Inc. will hold its annual shareholder–s meeting on March 1, 2012. The meeting will update shareholders on the current progress of the company–s projects as well as voting on several corporate items.

MEA Solutions is a Houston, Texas based company owned by Michael McGhan, Charles “Chet” Erwin and Gerald “Oj” Armstrong that consolidated their leadership and experience in the oil gas service industry with water resource, management and treatment services for industrial, municipal, and governmental authorities to address the growing issues facing the interdependent industries.
