Dallas tops the list. Dallas residents shelled out more for television service than any major city in the country — with an average bill of $60.76 per month between July and December 2011. That–s 28 percent more than the $47.42 per month that residents in Denver, one of the least expensive cities based on the research, paid on average in that same period.
New York and Indianapolis followed closely behind Dallas with average monthly television charges of $57.67 and $56.61 respectively. Rounding out the top 10 are Washington, D.C., San Diego, Los Angeles, Charlotte, N.C., Boston, Philadelphia and Las Vegas.
