FOLSOM, CA — (Marketwire) — 06/19/12 — Sparta Consulting, a KPIT Cummins company announced today that the Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (“Loudoun Water”) has awarded a multi-million dollar contract for the modernization and implementation of an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to Sparta, who will serve as the primary systems integrator for the project.
Headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia, Loudoun Water provides water and wastewater services to nearly 200,000 residents and businesses in central and eastern Loudoun County, Virginia. The project scope includes the replacement of Loudoun–s core business information systems with the SAP® ERP application, which encompasses integrated solutions for financials, utility billing, customer service, human resources, engineering and enterprise asset management. These business applications support the daily activities of each department and have a direct impact on Loudoun Water–s operational agility and customer service.
