ISELIN, NJ — (Marketwire) — 10/22/12 — Middlesex Water Company (NASDAQ: MSEX) has announced that several members of its management team will be participating on national speaking panels and serving on industry boards, advisory committees and leadership programs.
Richard M. Risoldi, Middlesex Water Chief Operating Officer, will be speaking on a panel at the American Water Summit in Chicago, IL on Thursday, November 15th to discussing “Business Models for the Future” and new ways water utilities are using advanced technology to track data and increase operational efficiency. Risoldi recently led a successful multi-product Enterprise Resource Planning implementation initiative at Middlesex Water which integrated numerous business processes including; Asset Management, Customer Care & Billing, GIS, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Mobile Workforce Management.
Dennis Doll, Chairman, President and CEO, recently participated on a panel addressing water regulatory issues at the 2012 Water Summit sponsored by the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC). NAWC works to promote the private water sector as the provider of quality and sustainable water services and innovative solutions. At the Summit, Doll was named President-Elect of the NAWC Board of Directors. In addition, Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Bernadette Sohler, was also elected to the Board of Directors of NAWC.
Mr. Doll has also been named to the Research Advisory Committee of the National Regulatory Research Institute (NRRI). The NRRI serves state utility regulators by producing and disseminating research that provides the analytical framework and tools necessary to improve their public interest decision-making.
Mr. Doll will also be representing New Jersey–s water industry on the advisory committee of the New Jersey Climate Adaptation Alliance. Facilitated by Rutgers University, the Alliance works to propose policy recommendations regarding adaptation and mitigation strategies from the effects of climate change.
