Over the past several years, the company has stretched its Los Angeles-based geographic limits by handling and remodeling projects in Orange County, San Bernardino, Riverside, and recently staffed several large apartment jobs in Salinas, California. The housing slump had severely affected CBMI, along with the rest of the construction industry, and the company needed to find new sources of revenue to supplement its typical business of constructing new multi-family apartments and condominiums.
