AXION Announces $500,000 Order From Trinity Railway Express for Its ECOTRAX(TM) 100% Recycled Rail Ties

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — (Marketwire) — 02/27/13 — (OTCQB: AXIH), a leader in recycled plastic and plastic composite technologies used to produce rail products and STRUXURE building products, today announced it has received an order over $500,000 for its 100% recycled ECOTRAX composite rail ties from (DART) for use in the (TRE) that connects Dallas and Fort Worth. TRE regularly purchases and installs ECOTRAX main line rail ties as well as specialty ties for use in crossings, turnouts and bridges.

“DART and TRE are committed to preserving the environment and overall sustainability. This latest order eliminated the need to cut down more than 2,500 trees,” stated Timothy H.
