PLAINVIEW, NY — (Marketwired) — 07/18/13 — PureSafe Water Systems (OTCQB: PSWS), manufacturer of the patented “FIRST RESPONSE UNIT,” a high volume mobile water purification system, today announced that they have been approved as a registered vendor to the United Nations Procurement Division, Level 1, as a 1st step in the rigorous process to pursue the sales of their unique PureSafe system in solving contaminated water problems funded by the UN worldwide. Clean drinking water availability from contaminated public water systems, rivers, and other surface fresh water sources is quickly becoming one of the world–s biggest problems, whether in developing countries or in rural or even large urban environments. The PureSafe unit can be mobilized to a contaminated source and within thirty (30) minutes can be producing clean drinking quality water to service as many as 45,000 people per day. The unit can even process ocean water into clean drinking water when and where other sources of freshwater are not available.
The “FIRST RESPONSE UNIT” Emergency Water System is capable of producing up to 30,000 gallons of EPA quality drinking water per day, providing three (3) different methods of water dispensing, from bulk storage to container filling with our special ozonized water disinfection station, to producing up to 1,800 half-liter sealed bags per hour for individual distribution.
Leslie Kessler, CEO, states, “This is a further step for PureSafe in its mission to provide clean water to the world.”
