Day & Zimmermann Names Industry Veteran VP of Projects

PHILADELPHIA, PA — (Marketwired) — 09/16/13 — Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the century-old, family-owned provider of construction & engineering, staffing, and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world, announced today that the company–s Engineering, Construction & Maintenance group has named Doug Napodano Vice President of Projects. In this role, Napodano will be responsible for overseeing D&Z–s open shop projects. Napodano has more than 30 years of EPC experience in project management, construction management, project controls and contract administration.

Prior to joining D&Z, Napodano served as Vice President of Operations with PIC Group. His previous experience includes stints with The Shaw Group, Air Control Science, Babcock Power and Alstom Power. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Union College and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Napodano will be based out of the firm–s Greenville office.
