CHICAGO, IL — (Marketwired) — 12/02/13 — Trillium CNG, a business unit of Integrys Energy Group, Inc., opened its fifth public CNG station in Wisconsin located at Fabel Repair & Collision Center, 1905 Prospect Court, Appleton, Wis. The company–s other Wisconsin CNG stations are in De Pere, Green Bay, Sturtevant and Wausau.
“This state effort is part of an initiative by Trillium CNG to help build out compressed natural gas fueling infrastructure to meet the needs of heavy-duty fleets who drive natural gas vehicles and who want to realize the economic and environmental benefits of fueling with CNG,” said Mary Boettcher, president, Trillium CNG.
The Appleton station–s proximity to U.S. Highway 41, approximately 1 mile away, and 24/7 hours of operation support CNG fueling for heavy-duty trucking in the area. Major credit and fleet cards are accepted at the station.
Two vehicles can fast-fill simultaneously at the station; in addition, the station was designed and built for expansion as demand for CNG in the area grows.
Paper Transport Inc. is the Appleton station–s anchor customer. “We are excited to see the continued development of the CNG station network,” said Jeff Shefchik, president, Paper Transport Inc. “This will have a positive impact on American jobs and our energy independence.”
