PADCON GmbH is systematically continuing its international expansion course with the development of the Israeli photovoltaic market. In December 2012, PADCON began the implementation of the first projects in Israel and passed the mark of 100 MW of monitored system output after only 14 months.
TÜV (German technical control board) certification of all PADCON products for desert climate conditions forms the basis for trouble-free authorisation with Israel Electric Corporation (IECo). Moreover, PADCON has supported IECo with the development of standards for the regulation of PV power plants on medium voltage level.
The pioneering work performed by PADCON is already benefitting many customers. The mature PADCON SCADA system adapted to the Israeli market is already in use in PV plants of size 2 – 10 MW. As a result of the perfect interplay of all components, the official plant tests were completed successfully as early as in June 2013.
“In 2014 too, with an order volume of 85 MW, Israel remains an extremely interesting market for our company,” PADCON GmbH Manager Constantin Wenzlik emphasises.
With Israel, PADCON monitors PV power plants for its customers with output amounting to over 2 gigawatts in 19 countries on 5 continents.
