In an exclusive interview with magazine publisher for October 2014 edition of Móde Vie Digital Magazine (), disclosed that she together with Amazon Kayapo Indian chief Raoni Metuktire, musician Sting, football legend Pelé and Jean Pierre Dutilleux pioneered the “1987 Save the Amazon Rainforest” movement with the help of Hollywood celebrities Ted Field and wife Susie Bollman-Field, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Joan Collins, Sylvester Stallone, Sidney Poitier, Jane Fonda, ZsaZsa Gabor, Elizabeth Taylor, Raquel Welch, Kim Basinger, Liza Minnelli, Vinicius de Moraes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and many others.
The 1987 Amazon Rainforest Campaign created the “.” Vani Paris recently launched a new Amazon Initiative and Environment Sustainability campaign where she is currently negotiating participation of world leaders and celebrities.
The is an annual event created under the “Fonds De Dotation Vani Paris: L–académie des Arts et Science du Cinéma International” which was founded by Madame Vani Paris with the help of French Minister of Culture and Communication in 2009.
