On September 11, 2001 the world witnessed the United States under a terrible attack of terrorism. Today – exactly ten years later – human, physical and political consequences are still most present all over the world: The war in Afghanistan, the political situation in Pakistan and debates on security versus civil rights in the USA and Europe are still determined to a great extend by the impact of events ten years ago. This International Online Conference will set a special focus on Pakistan, the USA and Germany. It will take a look at global consequences of 9/11 as well as the future challenges we will face. The Online Academy holds this event in cooperation with Brandenburgisches Institute for Society and Security (BIGS). With a video live stream of the Conference: “10 Years 9/11” on September 7, the Online Academy enables participants to take part in a very exclusive conference on security policy. The conference will be supported by the FNF staff from Pakistan, Brussels, the USA and Germany. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and discuss online with experts from media, politics and science.
