DALLAS, TX — (Marketwire) — 09/21/12 — Freestone Resources, Inc. (OTCQB: FSNR) announces that it is expanding its efforts in assisting exploration and production companies, as well as water resource companies with their water management activities. This includes the continued research and field testing of multiple water recycling technologies that can work together to not only be cost effective, but also promote environmental stewardship in the oil and gas industry.
Since water management has become one of the primary focuses at Freestone Resources, the company has reached an agreement with MEA Solutions to conduct all water-related activities within Freestone Resources. Freestone believes that this decision will allow for greater returns for investors on future water projects. Freestone will continue to work with Michael McGhan and Charles “Chet” Erwin to utilize the valuable knowledge and data gained while operating our recycling technology at Freestone Water Solutions.
“Our company–s water management goals have expanded since the formation of Freestone Water Solutions, and along with Mike and Chet we decided that this expansion would be most efficient if operated wholly within Freestone Resources,” said Clayton Carter, president at Freestone Resources.
“Recycling frac water and produced water is a science that is continuing to evolve. Frac water and produced water vary in composition depending on the fracking fluids contained in the flowback water, as well as the geographical location and the geological formation of the produced water. Thus, sometimes it–s required to utilize multiple technologies to ensure that the water can be reused and properly recycled on a consistent basis. Freestone is currently working on a case-by-case basis with potential clients to provide dependable access to water, which includes a complete water recycling program to fit their specific needs.”
Freestone Resources is a Dallas, Texas based oil, gas and water technology development company. The continuing goal of the Company is to develop new technologies that allow for the utilization of our vast resources in an environmentally responsible and cost effective way. .
