Solar enterprise Phaesun GmbH situated in Memmingen celebrated their „10 years of Phaesun and more than 500 years of Off-Grid experience“ anniversary on September 30 and October 1 together with their customers and 13 international manufacturers of the solar trade. On this occasion, the Off-Grid experts organised a two days’ exhibition with accompanying workshops. All in all, the members and partner of the Phaesun team stand for more than 500 years of professional experience in the Off-Grid sector.
“This event is extraordinary, since it is exclusively concentrated on the stand-alone power supply”, Huguette Aust, PV Off-Grid Sales Director of co-organiser Steca Elektronik explained. „Solar trade events usually focus on network supply while the Off-Grid sector is mostly neglected. Meanwhile, however, it has developed into more than just a niche market and must be understood as an independent business sector.“
The international visitors could inform themselves around the Off-Grid power supply with PV stand-alone systems at the in-house exhibition and used the opportunity to compare notes with the manufacturers on the spot. Representatives of the international Off-Grid trade introduced product innovations and new developments in the framework of workshops. They exchanged experiences in the field of rural electrification, water supply, industrial and leisure time applications. A motocross race with electric motorbikes and the Phaesun birthday party completed the entertaining framework programme.
Starting signal for further „Off-Grid Experts“ Events
The Phaesun ten years’ anniversary coincided with the first birthday of Phaesun France. Michel Mansard, managing director of the French subsidiary is planning further expert meetings: “We are happy to see that our „Off-Grid Experts“ workshop met with such a big response and important representatives of international companies from outside Europe also came here. We can well imagine to take this as a starting signal for a regular event.”
The following manufacturers took part as co-organisers: Solarworld AG, RipEnergy AG, Sundaya International, ET Solar, Hoppecke Batterien GmbH & Co KG, The Micha Design Company, Outback Power Technologies, Steca Elektronik GmbH, Studer Innotec SA, Keckeisen, Western Co., Grundfos, Southwest Windpower.
