SAN DIEGO, CA — (Marketwire) — 02/01/12 — Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air announced a contest to find the oldest working furnace in San Diego County. “Some people call their old furnaces a dinosaur, we–re calling it a Furnacesaurus,” said Mary Jean Anderson, president of Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air ().
“And when we find San Diego–s Furnacesaurus, we–ll give the homeowner a brand new energy efficient Lennox system,” said Anderson. “We–ve also got a second Lennox system that we–ll give away in a random drawing for all the entrants plus additional prizes as well.”
Additional contest prizes include furnace filters for a year, programmable thermostats, precision furnace tune-ups and carbon monoxide detectors. Plus all entrants in the contest will get certificates for $200 off a new furnace.
Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air partnered with Lennox () for this fun promotion. “Consumers often don–t realize how much they are spending with old, inefficient heating systems. It–s really dramatic when they see the savings. The other threat of an old system is carbon monoxide — often called the silent killer. The point of this contest is to get homeowners to check out the age and condition of their heating system,” said Anderson.
Contest rules and entry forms are available at or on the Anderson Facebook page. Contest dates are February 1, 2012 through March 21, 2012 with winners being announced on April 19, 2012.
Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air () has been serving San Diego County since 1978 and specializes in residential plumbing service, heating and air conditioning, repipe and relining home plumbing systems as well as both residential and commercial drain services.
