Bluesphere Corp. Technology Division Announces Lithium-Ion Fast Charge Technology Acquisition

EVEN YEHUDA, ISRAEL — (Marketwired) — 12/01/14 — (OTCQB: BLSP) (the “Company” or “Bluesphere”), a clean energy company that develops, manages and owns waste-to-energy projects, announced today that its technology division has acquired the rights for “fast charge battery” technology. Bluesphere has been focusing on energy and technology and after exhaustive research and due diligence has acquired the licensing rights to this exciting technology.

In the coming weeks Bluesphere will be providing full disclosure and information on this exciting technology, which, it is hoped, will create the initial revenue stream in the technology division.

Bluesphere CEO Shlomi Palas stated that, “the long-term focus of Bluesphere includes our Bluesphere Technology division. We have been working on this division from the very beginning as we felt that energy and technology were two major markets to participate in. Bluesphere technology has been reviewing and completing due diligence on what we believe is a market changer, that being the technology for a fast charge lithium Ion battery. The lithium-ion battery is a staple in major sectors of daily technology people use every day and there are 3 major dissatisfactions in the consumer market with the lithium-ion battery, those are:

1. Safety
2. Charging
3. Lifecycle

This new technology which Bluesphere has obtained the licensing rights for provides the solution in all three of these consumer concerns as it is expected to recharge 70% in 2 minutes and increase the life cycle from 2-3 years to over 20 years. In the coming weeks, we will be disclosing the full overview and value statement of this exciting technology.”

Bluesphere is in the business of generating electricity from biogas derived from organic waste, which is mostly food waste, and selling this electricity to leading electric companies through long-term power purchase agreements. Waste-to-energy is one of the fastest growing segments in the renewable energy markets. According to SBI Energy, the thermal and biological segments reached $6 billion in 2012 and will reach $29 billion by 2022.
