Dais Analytic Corporation Announces Appointment of Two New Outside Directors

ODESSA, FL — (Marketwire) — 02/27/12 — Dais Analytic Corporation (OTCBB: DLYT), a green technology company, announced today William “Bill” McCollum, Jr. and Peter J. Termyn have agreed to join the Company–s Board of Directors. The addition of these outside directors, when complete, will bring the Company–s Board of Directors to five members.

Bill McCollum is a partner in SNR Denton–s Public Policy and Regulation practice. He joined the firm following his term as the 36th attorney general of the state of Florida and member of the Florida Cabinet from 2007 to 2011.

Mr. McCollum also served as a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Florida–s 8th district, from 1981-2001, where he held a number of leadership positions including chairman of Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime; chairman of the Subcommittee on Human Intelligence, Analysis and Counterintelligence; vice chairman of the Banking and Financial Services Committee, ranking member of the subcommittee overseeing the Federal Reserve; and vice chairman of the House Republican Conference for three terms.

Prior to his elected public service, Mr. McCollum practiced law with a Florida firm, specializing in insurance defense, and was in the Navy Judge Advocate Generals Corps. He is a retired commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves, where he served for 23 years. From 2001 to 2007, he was in private practice where he focused on federal government policy.

Mr. Termyn is the President and CEO of Parkinson Technologies Inc., Woonsockett, Rhode Island, a world-wide industry leader for developing, designing and manufacturing of web processing machinery for plastics, nonwovens, paper and specialty materials used in key markets including energy, healthcare, flexible/ridged packaging, automotive, and construction. Parkinson–s customer base includes a broad range of companies, from venture-backed startups to Fortune 50 enterprises located world-wide.

Prior to Parkinson, Mr. Termyn held technical, commercial and business management roles in the semiconductor, fluid transfer, chemical, automotive and engineered products industries with Helix Technology, Tyco International, BOC Group, ITT Corporation, and Dresser Industries. Mr. Termyn holds dual engineering degrees in Chemical Engineering and Materials/Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Michigan, in addition to a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
