Cary Lee Peterson, a global philanthropist, who is the founder, president, and chairman for Environmental Control of Carbon Dioxide Corporation (“”) talks with the press about his feelings about the United States federal government shutdown and how it will affect the U.S. economy, job opportunities for Americans, Wall Street, and attitudes between political parties.

H.E. , who is an American businessman and serves as a goodwill ambassador to philanthropic and humanitarian causes tells the press that U.S. federal government shutdown is a very unfortunate occurrence for Americans who depend on a sustainable and reliable income from –Big Brother –through rain, sleet, or snow–. Mr. Peterson comments, “Green (not greed) is good, U.S. federal government shutdown is definitely bad.” His hopes are that a feasible resolution can be met on Capitol Hill soon and the nation is able to get back to the initial focuses of –getting Americans back to work–, especially with to the approaching holiday season.

On October 1, 2013, which is also the start of the 2014 fiscal year, the U.S. federal government shut down due to lack of appropriate funds, forcing furloughs of 800,000 workers and suspension of services not exempted by the Antideficiency Act, while another 1.3 million workers were required to report to work without compensation until an appropriations bill is passed on Capitol Hill. This will be the first U.S. federal government shutdown since 1995-96, which lasted a total of 21 days.
