EDF Renewable Services Signs Operations and Maintenance Agreement With MidAmerican Renewables for 81 Megawatts

SAN DIEGO, CA — (Marketwire) — 12/18/12 — — formerly enXco Service Corporation — has signed a multi-year agreement with Bishop Hill Energy II LLC, a subsidiary of both MidAmerican Renewables and MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company, to provide operations and maintenance services for the 81 megawatt (MW) Bishop Hill II Wind Project.

The project, located near the town of Galva, northwest of Peoria, Illinois, is comprised of 50 General Electric (GE) 1.62 MW wind turbines. Construction began in the fourth quarter of 2011 and the project began operation in November, achieving commercial operation in December 2012.

Under the terms of the agreement, EDF Renewable Services will provide selected operations and maintenance services for wind turbine generators and 24/7 remote monitoring from its North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) compliant Operations Control Center.
