Global Clean Energy, Inc. Announces Development of a Renewable Energy Park in New York–s Finger Lakes Region

HOUSTON, TX — (Marketwired) — 09/24/13 — Global Clean Energy, Inc. (OTC PINK: GCEI) is pleased to announce the signing of a comprehensive Letter of Intent with Seneca Bio Energy of Romulus NY. The LOI is to develop an Anaerobic Digestion Plant, Cellulose Gasification Plant and an Agricultural Plastics to Fuel Plant all to be located within the Seneca AgBio Green Energy Park.

Seneca BioEnergy has successful converted a sizable portion of the former Seneca Army Depot into a Renewable Energy Park. The development shall be located on a 55 acre site, including 400,000 square feet of warehouse and manufacturing facilities on site. The Energy Park is to include multiple technologies capable of converting agricultural feedstock into high value energy and to beneficially recycle products for sales throughout the region.

SBE has invested over $6,000,000.00 for site acquisition and necessary infrastructure upgrades commensurate with operating multiple waste to energy facilities. SBE has feedstock relationships with respect to the feedstock material necessary to develop an anaerobic digestion (AD) plant as well as feedstock relationships with local and regional farms to provide agricultural plastics necessary to develop a plastic to fuels project (PTF).

The Seneca AgBio Green Energy Park project has been awarded a $2,000,000 incentive from NYSERDA, for the production of electricity. As well, NY State has awarded the site with a tax exempt bonding package of $7,000,000 for capital purchases of equipment and infrastructure.

“It has always been our goal to develop a Green Energy Park,” said Earl Azimov, President of GCE. “We are fortunate to be able to join forces with Seneca Bio Energy who have successfully acquired a 55-acre brownfield site, located at the former Seneca Army Deport, and plan to develop it into a renewable product manufacturing and green energy production facility that continues to create jobs, while developing multiple new products, all based on our R.E.S.C.U.E. Mission of Reforming Environmental Salvage into Clean Usable Energy, throughout the Finger Lakes Region. GCE and SBE are dedicated to manufacturing and processing at the Green Energy Park in an environmentally-sustainable operation, while creating valuable jobs in Seneca County, New York.”

The Seneca AgBio Green Energy Park represents a “Distributive Model” for waste inputs, on-site processing and shipment of final products, from a centralized location, while being on an operational manufacturing facility, already permitted as a Green Energy Park. SBE has performed pilot testing of operations for agricultural processing and biofuels production. GCE and SBE have been working together to complete site plans and financing to encompass the processing of regional supplies of agricultural feedstocks, allowing all business units to gain synergies from common infrastructure and utilities.
