HOUSTON, TX — (Marketwire) — 09/26/12 — Global Clean Energy, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GCEI) has completed its Jatropha/abandoned landfill business analysis. The plan calls for the creation of 20,000 jobs, in the next two years, with the planting and harvesting of the Jatropha plant near abandoned landfills and bringing other carbon based feedstocks to gasification systems in the southern United States. The plan calls for no net cost to taxpayers in creating these jobs as the projected revenues from feedstock sales will be based on a revenue sharing model for the biofuels produced at the local, state and federal government level.
Global Clean Energy, Inc has contacted jurisdictions responsible for approval of its Jatropha planting projects. The Government Grants Division of GCE is preparing the funding applications. Additionally, the company has completed its 3 year revenue projections and is in communication with several funding entities to fulfill its capital requirements.
The combination of the local, state and federal government involvement and support plus the injection of private sector financing will allow Global Clean Energy to be profitable in the near term while assisting state and local governments in job creation and in the cleaning of existing landfills.
Global Clean Energy, Inc. is a waste-to-energy conversion solutions company, focusing on using available and developing technologies to convert waste into commercially viable energy, a process the company refers to as Reforming Environmental Salvage into Clean Usable Energy (R.E.S.C.U.E.).
