Global Ecology Produces Its First Organic Soil Amendment in Alabama

MONTCLAIR, NJ — (Marketwire) — 01/24/12 — Global Ecology Corporation (GEC) (OTCQB: GLEC) (PINKSHEETS: GLEC), through its wholly owned subsidiary GEC Organics, has produced its first supply of organic soil amendment, OSA1000.

This first test run will yield 300 tons of a proprietary compost product designed to greatly enhance crop yield and turf growth while continuing to maintain soil integrity.

The highly nutritious compost is made from chicken waste blended with green waste and enhanced with GEC–s licensed microbial formula. When fully operational, the Castleberry, Alabama site will be able to produce up to 20,000 tons of OAS1000 solid compost and in excess of 10,000 gallons of OSA101 liquid compost each month.

Although the effectiveness of the product has already been determined, GEC has engaged the services of a team of specialists consisting of plant pathologists, soil scientists, entomologists and agronomists who will evaluate the OSA1000 and provide GEC with a comprehensive report detailing plant performance and crop yield.

Peter Ubaldi, CEO of Global Ecology and President of GEC Organics, added, “Our Castleberry, Alabama location will use state of the art production procedures and sell its products, not only in the immediate region, but nationwide as well.”

The company said it expects to begin full production in Castleberry by mid-year.
