MIAMI, FLORIDA — (Marketwire) — 05/31/12 — Great Wall Builders, Ltd. (OTCBB: GWBU) (operating as “Start Technologies Europe s.r.o” or “Start Technologies”) is pleased to announce the appointment of B.U.T.WACTUR Waclaw Mroz as its exclusive distributor in Poland.
The five year agreement stipulates a minimum purchase of EUR600,000 in Start Fuel Efficiency and Emission Device (FEED) units in the first 12 months. The contracted amount will increase by 10% in each of the following four years.
The agreement followed closely on the completion of road tests conducted on a number of Wactur buses in January, 2012. A total of 5 Mercedes Tourismo coaches, and 2 BOVA FHD coaches were included in the tests. Wactur noted a dramatic reduction in emissions, as well as increased mileage in the range of 14%.
Poland has a population of 38.5 million people, with the number of vehicles estimated at 17 million. Roughly 40 per cent of this fleet is more than 11 years old, while 20% is more than 15 years old. Less than 15% of all vehicles were manufactured after 2002. While the country imports approximately 1 million vehicles annually, used vehicle sales outnumber new by a ratio of 4 to 1.
“This data would indicate that the Polish market lags well behind in terms of fuel efficiency and tailpipe emissions, due to the older technology employed by an aging fleet. This makes it an ideal market for the Company–s Start FEED products, as improvements in gas mileage are more dramatic in older, rather than newer, vehicles.” Company president and CEO, Daniele Brazzi commented.
“We have begun to fill orders into this market, although the numbers are still limited at this early stage.
Now that we are seeing proven demand in a number of different markets, it is becoming more important to ramp up production facilities to meet this demand. We are currently finalizing plans to set up production facilities in a number of different strategic locations to service the growing number of markets in which we have distribution agreements. We expect to be able to provide more definitive plans in the coming weeks regarding these exciting developments.”
The Start Fuel Efficiency and Emissions Device (FEED)
The Start Fuel Efficiency and Emissions Device (FEED) is a patent-pending fuel-conditioning technology that reduces fuel consumption and polluting emissions, while increasing engine horsepower. Start FEED technology functions by discharging an electric current at a specified frequency and wavelength into the fuel at ambient temperatures prior to its entry into the combustion engine.
Using this patent-pending technique, the high-voltage electric current breaks long-chain hydrocarbon molecules into shorter, lighter, more volatile molecules. Conventional gas and diesel fuels reconditioned by the Start FEED unit become more flammable and burn more completely in the combustion chamber.
This process is known as “cracking” in the petroleum refinery industry, where it is used to convert feedstock oil into gasoline, diesel and other products, including butanes, propane, propylene, ethane and methane. The patent-pending Start FEED is the only known technology proven to accomplish the cracking process directly into operating gas and diesel automotive and heavy-equipment engines.
