Macusani Yellowcake Announces Cancellation of Shares

TORONTO, ONTARIO — (Marketwire) — 10/04/12 — Macusani Yellowcake Inc. (TSX VENTURE: YEL)(FRANKFURT: QG1) (“Macusani” or the “Company”) announced today that it has cancelled 7,573,847 common shares. The shares were previously owned by Southern Andes Energy Inc. (“Southern Andes”) which was acquired by Macusani in a three-cornered merger transaction completed in April 2012. Macusani has recently amalgamated with its wholly-owned subsidiary Peru Uranium Inc. (the successor entity to Southern Andes) and the shares were cancelled in connection with the completion of this amalgamation. Following the cancellation of the shares, Macusani has 159,473,613 common shares issued and outstanding.
