Manufacturer Co-Sponsors Boy Scouts Gala Event, Partners With Other Local Companies

JACKSON, MI — (Marketwired) — 09/23/13 — On Saturday, October 12, Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc., the parent company of EverLast® Lighting, is co-sponsoring the Boy Scouts of America annual Autumn Gala event that will be held at One Five One Restaurant in Jackson, Michigan from 7 to 9pm. Tickets are $55 at the door for this event, and will feature a strolling dinner, a variety of domestic and international wines and Michigan craft beers. In addition there will be both silent and live auctions that will benefit Scouting in the Southern Shores Field Service Council, Boy Scouts of America.

“Scouting is important to communities as it not only positively affects the kids, but the parents that are able to be part of this process,” commented Nate Thornton, Development Director of Southern Shores Field Service Council. “We are grateful to Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. for their support as they are co-sponsoring the event with us, but also to One Five One for graciously allowing us to rent the entire restaurant and closing its doors to the public for the evening to provide the perfect venue for our event.”

Scouting serves young men and women via experiential education and development programs that enhance character development, ethics, active citizenship, leadership skills, physical fitness and mental stimulation. There are over 10,000 registered Scouting participants in the twelve counties that the Southern Shores Field Service Council serves.

“At One Five One, we understand the value of community, and the impact that the Boy Scouts of America has on it,” explained Steve Carlson, Owner of One Five One Restaurant. “As a local establishment, this is the least that we could do to support the Boy Scouts with their fundraising efforts. We are honored to be able to be a part of this process.”

Local Logic Media, a Jackson based marketing firm, is also getting into the fray, and leading marketing initiatives for the fundraiser as a courtesy on behalf of the Boy Scouts of America, and Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. Organizations that would like to sponsor the Boy Scouts of America–s October 12th event should contact Nate Thornton at .

Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. often supports the Boy Scouts of America, and the mission of the organization as a whole. For the past eight years, the owners of Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc., Mike and Diane Nevins, have financed, organized, and partnered with the Boy Scouts of America to hold the 2-day, 4th of July fireworks show that is displayed over the waters at Big Wolf Lake. The event supports the Jackson community and the Boy Scouts of America Camp Teetonkah and is one of largest and most beautiful displays in Michigan. All 4th of July sponsorships help the Southern Shores Field Service Council, formerly the Great Sauk Trail Council, continue to hold outdoor programs such as leadership training, conservation classes, and conflict resolution for the Boy Scouts at Camp Teetonkah.

“To be able to continuously help the Boy Scouts of America means a great deal to us. We pride ourselves on giving back to local organizations, and community initiatives that will benefit everyone,” stated Michael Nevins, President of Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. “And in this case, everybody wins.”
