Collins is Teresa Heinz Professor of Green Chemistry and Director, Institute for Green Science, Carnegie Mellon University. He is a world-renowned green chemist and is a pioneer in the development of Green Oxidation Catalysts.
Collins will address fracking in his discussion.

Cohen was presented with the Skoll Foundation–s Social Entrepreneur Award in 2006 and was named a “Game Changer” in Healthy Living by Huffington Post in 2011. He was recently awarded the EPA New England Region Environmental Merit Award for his work. He will address the responsibility of health care sector to address climate change.

Phillip R. S. Johnson, Heinz Endowments, will speak on the Pittsburgh “Breathe Project,” an awareness project for citizens of Pittsburgh that helps them understand the problems of air pollution in the community.
Noe Copley-Woods, MD, Assistant Professor of ObGyn at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She will address physician practices to reduce waste in the hospital setting, especially in the Operating Room, leading to reductions in the carbon footprint of the hospital and ultimately, lessening the effects of climate change.
Nina Kaktins from the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association describing the ANA/PSNA policy resolution “Nurses Role in Recognizing, Educating, and Advocating for Healthy Energy Choices.” She will discuss the nursing responsibility for addressing climate change.
