WINNIPEG, MANITOBA — (Marketwire) — 10/10/12 — The Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) will meet in Lake Louise, Alberta on Thursday October 11, 2012 to discuss a range of issues including air quality and measures to reduce packaging.
The Council is made up of environment ministers from each of the provinces, territories and the Government of Canada. The current president of CCME, Hon. Diana McQueen, Alberta–s Minister of Environment and Sustainable Resource Development, will chair the meeting, which will be held at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (Mount Temple A/B Room), 111 Lake Louise Drive, Lake Louise, Alberta.
There will be a photo opportunity for members of the media at 10:00 am, MDT. At the close of the meeting the Council will issue a communique and hold a news conference on Thursday October 11, 2012 3:00 pm MDT (5:00 pm EDT).
