CHICAGO, IL — (Marketwired) — 10/05/14 — Integrys Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE: TEG) — Trillium CNG announced the rollout of its new 7″ Hydraulic Intensifier Compressor (HY-C) which reduces CNG vehicle re-fueling time in half at the American Trucking Association–s (ATA) annual Management Conference and Exhibition in San Diego, California. The press conference was attended by members of the media as well as representatives from ATA and Trillium CNG.
The 7″ HY-C is designed to accommodate heavy-duty fleets that require high volume compressed natural gas (CNG) re-fueling times for multiple vehicles across multiple fueling lanes.
The new product is the next generation in fast-fill technology developed by Trillium CNG to enable fast-filling multiple vehicles simultaneously. Trillium CNG–s 5″ HY-C is being used in many of its existing heavy-duty public access CNG stations to achieve fueling rates of 10 gasoline gallon equivalents (GGE–s) per minute.
“We–re excited about of our new 7″ HY-C because it not only preserves valuable driver time, which is important to fleet operators, but it redefines CNG refueling industry standards which were originally established with our 5″ HY-C,” said Ted Calvin, vice president of manufacturing and supply chain. Calvin added that for over 20 years, Trillium CNG has been the market leader in fast-fill CNG refueling innovation with a focus on customer service and station reliability.
