(TSX: NNN)(OTCBB: NEYYF)(OTCQX: NEYYF) (“NiMin” or the “Company”) today announced that Scott Dobson, currently Vice President of Operations, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, effective September 1, 2011. In addition to managing all of NiMin–s oil field operations, Mr. Dobson will be leading the Company–s efforts to develop and commercialize proprietary enhanced oil recovery (“EOR”) technologies, including the patented Combined Miscible Drive (“CMD”).

Mr. Dobson has over fifteen years of industry experience managing drilling, completion and producing operations in over a dozen states, including extensive experience in Wyoming. He joined NiMin in June of 2008 as an Operations Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in January of 2011. Prior to NiMin, Mr. Dobson worked at Merit Energy Company for seven years in increasingly senior positions. Most recently, he served as Operations Manager for Merit–s East Rockies region, where he was responsible for the financial results of that business unit. Before joining Merit Energy, Mr. Dobson worked at Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Company as a Reservoir and Production Engineer. At Burlington, he was responsible for identifying over 1,000 re-stimulation, re-drill, and new drill projects. Mr. Dobson graduated from Montana Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering.
