Established in 2006, PerformAir began researching exhaust fumes and their impact on the health, welfare and performance of transported horses and other animals. PerformAir found the problem to be bigger than everybody thought, with transported animals not only being affected by exhaust fumes, but also dust, dirt, pollen and many other roadside pollutants that are drawn into vehicles as they move.
