NEW YORK, NY — (Marketwire) — 02/06/12 — Prospect Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEC) (“Prospect” or “Company”) announced today that Prospect has declared monthly cash distributions to shareholders in the following amounts and with the following record and payment dates:
10.1450 cents per share for February 2012 (record date of February 29, 2012 and payment date of March 23, 2012); and
10.1475 cents per share for March 2012 (record date of March 30, 2012 and payment date of April 20, 2012); and
10.1500 cents per share for April 2012 (record date of April 30, 2012 and payment date of May 24, 2012).
These distributions mark the Company–s 43rd, 44th, and 45th consecutive cash distributions to shareholders.
The Company expects to declare its May 2012, June 2012, July 2012 and August 2012 distributions in May 2012.
