seebaWIND Service cooperates with Maintenance Partners

“With the service contract Premiumplus, we can offer the German market optimal full maintenance”, explains seebaWIND Service managing director Severin Mielimonka. “Previously, one could only react to malfunctions; now with Premiumplus we are able to provide one-hundred percent proactive maintenance. The intelligent data management system WINTELL, developed by Maintenance Partners, connects all data from the plant, its operation and the weather and can, therefore, forecast interference, malfunctions and deviations in performance at an early stage. “Thanks to WINTELL, we can help increase yield, improve the availability of the wind power plant and enable it to operate beyond its common 20-year life span”, says Mielimonka. seebaWIND Service monitors the wind power plants via a remote control centre and conducts maintenance and repairs, as well as measures to increase yield. It runs system checks to help identify how the plant can be optimised. Maintenance Partners makes all large components available.

Long-term Yield Optimisation

On 1 April 2014, seebaWIND Service and Maintenance Partners started their first joint project in Neuengörs, a city in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Commissioned in 2001, the wind park consists of six plants, Senvion MD70 (formerly REpower) with a total of nine megawatts of power. All plants are being retrofitted with the data management system WINTELL. A real-time data connection will record all data delivered by WINTELL. In a second step, seebaWIND Service plans on optimising the plant specific to its location in order to improve its efficiency even further. “This new approach, thanks to its very transparent and proactive maintenance, has convinced both operator and us of the Premiumplus full maintenance contracts from seebaWIND Service and Maintenance Partners”, says Joachim Fröhlich from Denker & Wulf AG, which takes care of the operational management of the wind park. “This idea constitutes a further step toward operating the plants as long as possible.”

Since 2013 seebaWIND Service and Maintenance Partner have been working together on projects in Europe, among others, in France and Spain. “We have found a partner in seebaWIND Service: one who is service oriented, reacts quickly, solves problems and has the necessary technical expertise”, says Pascal Collin, Manager of Business Development Wind at Maintenance Partners.
