As a member of the International Project Finance Association (IPFA), SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, will attend a conference titled “Energia rinnovabile: come gestire i rischi dei progetti in ambito project finance – Renewable energy: how to manage risks in project finance”. This one day event will take place on February 25, 2010 in Milan, Italy.
The priority objective of this event is to share knowledge and experience about the management of Project Finance risks in the Renewable Energy Industry. SGS has been invited to present its knowledge about risk management in wind farm projects and to demonstrate its broad range of Project Risk Management Services for the Wind Energy Industry.
Jale Cairney, Business Development Manager of SGS Wind Energy Services, will give an interesting presentation about “Risk Management of Wind Farm Projects”. She will be discussing potential risks to wind farm projects throughout the entire project lifecycle from design, site selection, manufacturing and construction through to the operation of wind farms.
