WINAICO takes off in Great Britain

After the company received the MCS certificate required to sell its mono- and polycrystalline modules of the WSP series in Great Britain early this year, there was no longer anything in the way of its launch onto the British market. The British product certificate is an internationally recognised, independent seal of approval that is issued for superior product quality and safety.

Since then WINAICO has already realised several projects in Great Britain, amongst others for the Birmingham Council and for Warwick University.
‘The demand for high-quality photovoltaic modules in Great Britain is very high, and we expect further growth in demand in the years to come. We are currently working on establishing a partner network to sell our modules directly via installers to the end customer – we are consciously sidestepping the retail route‘, says Sascha Roßmann, Managing Director of WINAICO Deutschland GmbH.

Similarly as, for example, in Germany and France, in Great Britain the greatest demand is above all for small systems. Particularly suited for this need is the new polycrystalline 6×8 cell module of the WSP series by WINAICO. It is available in wattage classes from 170 to 195 W and expected to be available by the middle of the year.
WINAICO will present this module and other products at the Solar Power UK, which will take place from the 26th through the 28th of October 2011 in Birmingham.
